The problem
Every month, the finance team spent hours pulling payroll data from multiple sources, aligning it with forecasts, and reformatting it for review. The process was manual, repeated every month, and fragile. Any source change broke the chain.

What I built
A modular reporting system in Excel, connected to SharePoint via Power Query. Data refreshes automatically when the source updates. The model compares forecast to actuals with clear variance flagging. No manual copy-paste. No reformatting.
